1. AT Protocol & Public Data

Bluesky Starter Pack is built on the AT Protocol, a decentralized social networking technology. All data displayed on our platform is:

• Publicly available through the AT Protocol network
• Sourced directly from Bluesky's public APIs
• Not modified or enhanced with private information
• Subject to Bluesky's own privacy policies and data practices

2. Our Role

We act as an interface to public AT Protocol data by:

• Organizing public Bluesky profiles into thematic collections
• Displaying information that users have made public on Bluesky
• Facilitating discovery of public content and profiles
• Not storing or collecting any private user information

3. Authentication

When you sign in with Bluesky:

• Authentication is handled directly by Bluesky's OAuth service
• We only receive your public DID (Decentralized Identifier)
• We do not have access to your private data or messages
• You can revoke access at any time through your Bluesky settings

4. Analytics & Cookies

We use minimal tracking to improve our service:

• Basic analytics to understand site usage patterns
• The following cookies are used:
  • session: Encrypted JWT containing your Bluesky DID for authentication. Expires in 24 hours.
  • theme: Your preferred color theme (light/dark). Persists until cleared.
  • plausible_session: Anonymous analytics session ID. Expires in 30 minutes.
• No personal data is collected or shared with third parties
• All analytics are anonymized and aggregated
